Thank you to everyone who helped prepare the grounds, clubhouse, food, drinks and kit for yesterday's game.
Thank you to all those who committed to the day and took part in the game, our mascots, score board team, ball boys, kitchen volunteers, bbq volunteers, photographers and all those who came along to support. A great day weatherwise, a game played in good spirits with some "spirits" consumed thereafter. A port toast to the pillars of the club who sadly didn't make it to 25 years with us 😪
Captain Ryan and Head Coach Cammy led the teams out onto the field through a guard of honour provided by the Common boys with the help of mascots Sophie and Munro. Thanks Juniors! The Young team walked away winners with the final score 64 - 41.
We hope there aren't too many sore bodies today, especially those who were playing for the first time in a long time! Great to see so many of the Rams from seasons gone by back in the kit at The Holm, hopefully we'll see you all again next weekend when we have our 2019/20 season opener with a friendly against Uddingston kicking off at 3pm.
The celebrations continued into the evening at the PISC. A good night was had by all with music from Wired (and occasionally the players) a few sore heads sure to follow! President Davie and Captain Ryan led a port toast with the players, young and old that attended the event.
Thanks to the ladies, Captain and Vice for preparing the hall and the staff at the Proudfoot for their assistance throughout the weekend. Big thanks to Jane and the team at the Balmoral for providing an amazing buffet and Sarah for the amazing cake. Thank you to all of the businesses and friends for the raffle donations but most of all thank you to everyone who attended and helped us celebrate.
We might not be the biggest club in the region but we're still here, still going and a huge thanks is owed to our current committee and committed volunteers who keep the club running now whilst working for the future. #teamrams #followtherams #25yrs
